Welcome! Glad you are here.

“In the silence of the heart, God will speak.” ~ Mother Teresa

I am a Master’s degree student at Regent College (a cross-denominational graduate school of theology in Canada) and a trained Spiritual Director♱ who takes delight in holding sacred space to listen, guide, and bear witness to individuals as they seek to encounter God in every aspect of their lives and discern where the Trinity is inviting their attention. Spiritual direction invites us into a profound encounter with God, offering a place of belonging both in our depths and at the fringes of life. It beckons us to heed the soft, divine whispers guiding us toward a grander, communal experience of the divine that encompasses all creation. Recognizing thresholds, exploring when and how to mark an ending and beginning, or longing for the deep well is nothing short of a divine invitation to listen wholly. Recognizing thresholds and contemplating how to signify beginnings and endings, as well as yearning for a deeper understanding, serves as a divine invitation to listen fully. My cultural heritage spans a cherished British colony and Canada, where my education, career, and family continue to shape my story. This fusion of varied histories and languages has provided me with a rich understanding of others, encouraging me to appreciate their own stories of boundary-crossing and journeying. It is this empathetic connection, which honours the beauty of those traversing the spaces between cultures and continents, that I hold dear. Supporting others in reclaiming their true identity and the sanctity of their souls is my life’s purpose.

“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised, fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed - to be seen, heard and acknowledged exactly as it is.” ~ Parker Palmer

With almost 30 years in Christian spiritual formation, I have been homed in the Baptist tradition, Alliance, and contemplative Anglican traditions. My certificate in spiritual directorship with Anam Cara Ministries; completion of the St. Ignatius of Loyola's Spiritual Exercises with New College Berkeley Graduate Theological Union; and Death, Dying, and Grief Certificate with Tyndale Seminary have all equipped me to accompany others in complex places.

Between God and the soul, there is no between.” ~ Julia of Norwich

The intersection of the Christian faith, anthropology, ethnography, identity, belonging, and grief touches everyone. A person’s unique placedness, socio-cultural heritage and lived experiences all telegraph her/his spiritual biography. My prayer is that you find solace in the companionship of Christ, who can unveil things from concealment and breathe meaning into your story. Come rest, be accompanied and illuminated by God in our spiritual direction journey.
